Who's behind Aquafin?

Our founder Anne Frisch

Anne was CFO and board member of international companies in the industrial and energy sectors, notably at Suez, Rio Tinto Alcan and Solvay. For over 30 years, she steered capital-intensive businesses through profound change and managed global teams in multicultural contexts.

Passionate about education, Anne is now a professor and academic director at HEC Paris, where she teaches sustainable finance and strategy to students in master's and executive programs.

Convinced that companies are key players in the transition to a low-carbon economy, but also that they must cultivate human capital and protect natural capital, Anne integrates ESG and sustainable development into all its training programs.

Benoit Sarrade, transition coordinator

Driven by the same thirst to pass on knowledge while having fun, Benoit joins Anne in 2021 to coordinate and run part of the Aquafin programs. Based in Vienna, Austria, Benoit facilitates in 3 languages (English, French and German) and strengthens Aquafin's sustainability component with his expertise in environmental themes such as planetary boundaries, resource issues, adaptation and mitigation solutions, and the circular and regenerative economy. Benoit raises awareness among a variety of groups from the general public, NGOs, universities and businesses.
